Upcoming Event(s);

In October 2010, we will be holding our 2nd annual Barktober Fest in Nockamixon State Park (Lot #12). This is the usual Collie Match Show and All Breed Obedience Trials, food and beverages as well as many other events. (Click on the banner to the left to see last year's event.)

We are also looking into holding another Rabies Vaccinations and Microchip Clinic since last years was so popular.

Collie Match Show & All Breed Obedience and Rally Trials;

A great big THANK YOU goes out to all those people who pitched in (Members and Non-Members alike.) to help make this a fun time in the heat of summer. (Please click on the banner to the left to see pictures of the days events.)

Despite the threat of an unmowed lot (Many thanks to the Park Ranger who arranged to get it mowed!), rizing temperatures and high humidity the day turned out to be a great day for our event which included Collie Conformation, All Breed Obedience, All Breed Rally Trials, the ever popular Collie Rescue tent with many great collie oriented items to purchase and of course the great food cooked fresh on site.

Specialty Show, 8 May 2010;

I first want to thank those members that helped out as well as a big thank you to all the entrants for braving the elements to attend.

Despite the threat of heavy storms and a trailer tire that exploded 6 miles from the show site (At 5am on a lonely winding river road.) and a destroyed tent (Due to wind gusts during the brief storm.), oh, and a bad memory card in the camera caused a huge delay in getting these online(Out of 400 photos taken I was able to rebuild a little over half of them.) our 58th Specialty show was a huge success! Just a side note about the new gallery: As you can see I have started using a new photo gallery system. It's larger, to accomidate the larger screen sizes that are popular now, and currently image "names" are no longer visible. That part I will work on so that individual photos can be more readily identified for those that may want copies of the original.
